Samana bay in Dominican Republic and Silver bank where humpback whales come to breed.
We were lucky to get calm weather to go by Silver Bank and they were everywhere! There was one moment when family appeard just out of nowhere near us but we were just looking with our jaws open (forgeting about cameras or filming).
Apparently you need permission to enter it though we could not find any information about it.
The only annoying thing was that there were a lot of fishermen. One mothership with tenders around. And they would leave plastic drinks and food packages in the water after eating...
